Terms of service.

Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a UK commercial lawyer. Do not rely on them for a binding contract. Real terms will replace this before paying customers are onboarded.

1. Who we are

"Boshed", "we", and "us" mean Boshed Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By signing up for or using Boshed, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and authorised to enter contracts on behalf of your business.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your password safe. We won’t ever ask you for it.
  • You can have one or more user accounts under your subscription, up to the tier cap.

3. Subscription and billing

  • Subscriptions are monthly, payable in advance, in pounds sterling.
  • Prices shown are excluding VAT, added at 20% for UK customers.
  • You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change prices with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscriptions stay on the old price until renewal.
  • The 14-day free trial does not require a card. If you don’t pick a plan at the end, the account is paused, not billed.

4. What we’ll do

  • Provide the Boshed service on a best-effort basis. No specific uptime guarantee in this draft (a real SLA will follow).
  • Keep your data on UK/EU servers with daily off-site backups.
  • Notify you of material outages and security incidents.
  • Let you export all your data as a CSV, any time.

5. What you’ll do

  • Only use Boshed for lawful purposes.
  • Not abuse the system (excessive automated traffic, attempts to access other tenants’ data, sending spam through customer messaging features).
  • Make sure you have the right to put your customers’ personal data into Boshed.
  • Keep your billing details up to date.

6. Your data

You own the data you put into Boshed. We process it on your behalf to run the service. See the Privacy policy for the detail. We will never sell your data, and we will never share it with advertisers.

7. Suspending and ending accounts

  • If your payment fails, we’ll email you. After 14 days of non-payment we may suspend access. You still own your data and can export it.
  • If you breach these terms in a way that puts other tenants or our infrastructure at risk, we may suspend or end your account immediately, with a refund pro-rated to unused time on the current period.
  • If we end the service (e.g. we go out of business), we’ll give you 90 days’ notice and a full CSV export.

8. Liability

Subject to the law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes to these terms

We’ll email you if anything material changes. We won’t sneak changes in.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
